Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Last reviewed: 18th March, 2025
The UK's Modern Slavery Act 2015 ("MSA") requires large organisations doing business in the UK to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement. The MSA applies to an organisation's subsidiaries and any parent organisation conducting business in the UK.
This Statement sets out Pinnacle Global Group’s (“Pinnacle”) commitment pursuant to Section 54(1) MSA, detailing the proactive steps taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains. Pinnacle’s Board annually confirms compliance with this Statement based on information provided by our business.
Introduction
Pinnacle Global Group adheres strictly to UK law and remains dedicated to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chain, expecting the same level of commitment from our suppliers and partners. This commitment aligns with the fundamental principles established by the International Labour Organisation, including:
· Elimination of forced and compulsory labour
· Abolition of child labour
· Elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation
This Statement describes the policies and procedures Pinnacle implements to manage and mitigate potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.
Policies
Pinnacle Global Group annually reviews and updates its policies to ensure a comprehensive approach to addressing modern slavery and human trafficking risks. We maintain specific procedures guiding Pinnacle’s approach to addressing these risks within our operations and supply chains. Pinnacle maintains a zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery and human trafficking, committing to ethical practices and maintaining robust control systems to ensure these abuses do not occur within our operations or supply chains.
Key policies contributing to the prevention of modern slavery include:
· Modern Slavery Policy
· Whistleblowing Procedures
· Procurement Policy
· Staff Handbook
· Code of Conduct
· Supplier Code of Conduct
· Human Rights Statement
· Supplier Corporate Social Responsibility Charter
· Responsible Business Principles
Identifying and Managing Risks
Pinnacle has conducted thorough reviews of its supply chains and procurement processes, with external advisory support, to identify areas of potential risk related to modern slavery and human trafficking. Overall, the review indicated a low risk due to the nature of Pinnacle's business activities.
However, where products and services from third-party suppliers present higher risks, additional due diligence measures have been undertaken. These include extended supplier onboarding questionnaires addressing slavery and human trafficking risks and requesting suppliers' own policies and mitigation procedures. Suppliers must comply explicitly with our Supplier Code of Conduct, prohibiting forced or child labour, and contract terms include a right of audit to ensure compliance.
Employees and suppliers are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking within Pinnacle's operations or supply chains, with confidential reporting facilitated by our whistleblowing procedures.
Awareness and Training
Staff involved in procurement within risk-sensitive categories receive targeted guidance and training to enhance their awareness and capability to manage modern slavery risks effectively.
This statement is owned by Pinnacle Global Group’s Executive Management and approved annually by the Board of Directors.
